Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom to return for second series

Arrow Media's high-profile series Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom has been commissioned for a second series, with even more exclusive access secured across new locations over an extended run of 10 hour long episodes.

The new series will deliver even more exclusive access to the vast array of animals in Disney's care at its resorts and theme parks, acrossa brand-new locations:

  • Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground
  • Disney's Vero Beach Resort
  • Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom will continue to feature access from the locations which also appeared in Season 1:

  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
  • The Seas with Nemo & Friends at EPCOT

This 10-episode docu-series also showcases the dedicated team of animal experts who manage the around-the-clock needs of the animals, ranging from pulling a big tooth from Lil Joe, the manatee; throwing a birthday party for Galápagos tortoises; releasing sea turtles back into the wild after rehabilitation; hatching baby flamingos and more! From special enrichment programs and nutrition to encouraging animals to participate in their own medical care, the team has established strong bonds with the animals to maintain their health and promote their wellbeing.

The all-new season will debut on National Geographic January 1 2023. All episodes will be released on Disney+ Jan. 4.
