We are delighted that Arrow's innovation as a company has been recognised in this year's Content Innovation Awards, which celebrate companies that are helping transform today's global TV industry. We have been shortlisted in the Innovation and Ingenuity Category.
Covid brought TV production across the industry to a halt in March. But Commissioners and viewers still want fresh content. Arrow has been widely recognised - including by the RTS in this recent session - as a company finding innovative ways of working emerging from the constraints, introducing new methods to bring about long-lasting benefits. We have been recognised by the Content Innovation Awards for the introduction of Artificial Intelligence across the company to help us exploit our assets – over 4,000 hours of rushes and completed series from both the Arrow Media and Arrow Pictures' archives which could be examined and catalogued to create new programmes. We have also been recognised for our innovative use of technology to help us complete programmes on time, and to budget, despite lockdown contstraints.
We are thrilled to be nominated for such a prestigious award and look forward to 3 December, when the winners are announced.
