The World Congress of Science and Factual Producers has recognised the Arrow Pictures documentary, Generation 9/11 in the Most Innovative Factual Program/Project category for its upcoming awards, The Buzzies.
The feature-length film, which takes a unique look at the impact of the 9/11 tragedy, premiered earlier this year to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11 2001.
The Buzzies celebrate excellence in science and factual storytelling, and recognise short-form, long-form and multiplatform science, history and natural history projects, as well as awarding projects for innovation and impact.
Generation 9/11 is an intimate film telling the stories of the unique group of teenagers who were born in the wake of their fathers, who lost their lives on 9/11.
Winners will be announced via a virtual awards ceremony during the three-day Congress ’21 event, which runs from 30 November to 2 December.
