Arrow Media is delighted to welcome Stuart Pender to its team of Executive Producers. Pender has extensive experience as a Series Producer and worked with a host of major broadcasters in both the UK and US (BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Discovery and National Geographic), across the full spectrum of factual programming.
Tom Brisley, Creative Director, Arrow Media, says: “It’s a fantastic time for Arrow Media. 2020 saw our first series go out on Disney+ and we’ve opened 2021 with our first feature doc on discovery+. There’s a huge opportunity for us to grow our footprint in both the US and the UK and, for that, we need a strong team of Execs. From hard-hitting documentaries to high-profile, talent-led fact ent, Stuart has a wealth of experience that’s perfect for Arrow Media. His background means he not only understands the demands and expectations of complex projects, but he delivers them with the creative flair we are looking for. I’m really looking forward to working with him in his new role.”
Pender has been at Arrow for over two years, where he has been Series Producer on some of Arrow Media’s most successful and long-running crime series, such as See No Evil, Body Cam and The Devil Speaks, all for Investigation Discovery. He has also worked with Studio Lambert, Wall to Wall, ITN Productions, Renegade Pictures and KEO Films, with credits including: The Brighton Police (ITV) as Series Director/Producer; UK’s Best Part Time Band (BBC Four) as Series Director; Drugs Inc (National Geographic) as Senior Producer; Rachel Nickell: The Untold Story (ITV) as Director; Undercover Boss (Channel 4) as Producer/Director; and The Choir and Military Wives (BBC Two) as Producer/Director.
