With a career in television spanning 15 years, Katie has worked in both a production and development capacity across the full range of factual. She has developed over 100 hours of factual programming for the British, American and international markets and has worked in development and production for many leading factual producers including the BBC, Blink, Nutopia and Voltage. In 2015, Katie’s development work was recognised when she was named one of Broadcast Magazine's International Rising Stars.
As a freelance development executive, her credits include Our Coast (BBC Two), London: 2000 Years of History (Channel Five) and whilst Development Executive at Big Wheel Film and Television, Sue Perkins: Along the US-Mexico Border (BBC One). As Head of Development for Blink Films, her commissions included: The Missing Evidence (Channel Five/Smithsonian); Nazi Secret Files (American Heroes Channel and Discovery International); and Titanic: The New Evidence (Channel 4).
